Child Passenger Safety (CPST) Services

Safer rides start here.

Over half of car seats are installed or used incorrectly. Even small mistakes can impact how well a seat protects your child. As a CPST, I help families:

  • Install car seats correctly through education

  • Choose the right seat for their child’s age, side, and needs

  • Understand rear-facing vs forward-facing best practices

  • Navigate tricky vehicles, three-across setups, and travel needs

  • Transition between stages confidently

What is a CPST?

A CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) is a nationally certified child passenger safety expert trained to help families choose, install, and use car seats correctly. CPSTs follow evidence based safety standards and manufacturer-specific guidelines.

FAQs

Do you install the car seat for me?

During your appointment, I provide education and and hands-on guideance to help you understand how to properly install and use your child’s car seat. As a CPST, I am trained to support you through the process and help you achieve a correct install and feel confident doing in on your own in the future.

Where do appointments take place?

Appointments are conducted at your home. I currently serve the Greater Nashville area.

Is this included when I book a cleaning?

All car seats are visually inspected with every clean. If you’d like hands-on installation guidance, you can add a CPST Install Add-On to any cleaning service. If you don’t need a cleaning, we also offer stand-alone CPST appointments for education and guided installation.

Are you certified?

Yes! I am a certified Car Seat Passenger Technician (CPST) and also a board certified Nurse Practitioner, which gives me an added layer of safety knowledge and experience.
